Chaplet for Fr. John
We want to invite everybody to join us in praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet for the complete healing of Fr. John Weyer. A sign-up sheet is on a poster in the St. Jude Chapel.  The Chaplet only takes 7 minutes and you can pray wherever you are. Choose a specific hour and keep this commitment until Fr. John is completely healed. We will see graces flow to this parish if we are all united in prayer. As Jesus said to St. Faustina: Through the Chaplet you will obtain everything if what you ask is compatible with My will.(1731) By this novena [of Chaplet], I will grant every possible grace to souls. Nick comes on board after having 4 years experience as a volunteer in Catholic Youth Ministry, bringing with him another long time volunteer, Tricia, his wife of eight months.

Nick has also spent past summers in summer camp ministry and has recently left the social work field for the opportunity to pursue his passion, sharing Christ with others in the Catholic faith.

Nick and Tricia have been parishioners here at SVDP since their move to the area last December. Tricia works as a Child Life Specialist at Texas Children’s Hospital and will be a great addition here as a volunteer.

Nick is a Beaumont native and graduate of Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School. Both he and his wife are graduates of Texas Tech University. Nick is excited to be joining the team and for the opportunity to serve the parish.
